So this is my first real venture into 2D in Unity, I have years of experience with 3D but never felt the need to dip my toe into 2D
It has been quite a fun experience so far, learning tilesets , sprite editing and 2D Physics, and never doing things by half also my first time using Unity 6 :)
I've completed the player movement (rotating the maze around the player, and added a destructable box obstacle and simple spike hazard and the player exit.
UI wise the countdown timer works as intended.
Away from MVP I'll start to focus on health, lives, and score and then an overarching manager to handle states and loading of levels
